      Leaving corporate to work at a startup? Avoid.

      Trainwreck of a company.

      Pros

      This company merged with a company called ThankView, that used to be such a great place to work. There are still some previous ThankViewers who still work there.

      Cons

      This company really has no idea what they're doing. All of the people who spoke up about unfair business practices were all pushed out and Surprise, Surprise, most of the people pushed out were people of color or women. With layoffs and reorganizations, it is glaringly obvious that they have no idea what to do. There are so many people leaving the company. I really wouldn't waste my time applying. The product is neglected and they're trying to sell features that don't even exist. Most of the people who made the company great (ThankView) are gone. They have no idea how to handle people.

      Remote job with decent perks, just some current growing pains

      Pros

      Fully remote & worked alongside some talented and inspiring people. I enjoyed the majority of my time with this company. Fun events, fun environment (as best as they could do remotely).

      Cons

      Not a lot of established processes in place, which makes for a lot of extra effort and work in nearly everything you do. Or if there are processes, they can be cumbersome. Additionally, their benefits support can use some improvement - I had some difficulty with unclear answers and that can be frustrating (especially when dealing with healthcare, 401K's, and personal funds).
