Pros

If you like working long hours in a sweatshop, with zero career growth, and not be well regarded, then here's the pager, good luck! Say good bye to your life

Cons

The fact of the matter is this company is poorly run, you will be required to work for two clients, and each one requires full time attention. Expect to be obligated to work 12-14 hour days 5 days a week, and be happy about it. They are always looking where to place the blame, and punish the person There is only one way to do things, their way. Over worked, underpaid, lame company culture

Pros

- Engineers are respected and treated with high value, by EverOps Leadership and Client / Partner Leadership and Engineers. - Lead, contribute, own, and coordinate directly on important and meaningful projects. - Opportunities to develop and use powerful bleeding edge technologies in massive engineering operations, or in smaller teams if that’s more your style. - The Tech Pod model provides structure, feedback and camaraderie amongst individual contributors. - Empower other Engineers and business Leaders with your contributions, working with them to meet their needs where they are. - Room to learn, grow and mentor. - Clients and Partners are leaders in their respective spaces — technologically and personnel-wise! - Tech Pods are produce results with high velocity and accuracy, implementing what the Clients and Partners need. -Killer logo, swag and benefits! - An enjoyable and rewarding atmosphere. - Remote first, since inception!

Cons

- Clients and Partners sometimes provide older laptops (or whatever they have on hand) which is not always spec’ed for the resource hungry tools and projects we contribute to day-to-day. - EverOps Leadership makes an honest attempt at putting quality of life first for it’s Engineers and Staff, while continuing to meet the needs of our Clients and Partners. (this is not a con, but I wanted more than 1 entry in this field to show that I tried to look for more cons).

Pros

Even working remotely there is good communication within the team; if there is something you don't know you can learn from them. If it's brand new you are encouraged and given the time to explore it and then you become the teacher. There are busy times and light times. I for one appreciate the mix. The work can be challenging and easy; there will always be something to do but it's not always so cerebral that you wear yourself out.

Cons

There will be times when the workload grows and during the time it takes to get new hires up to speed it is going to leave you with a lot to do. You are going to skill-up and you will be compensated but Everops is not structured in a way that you are likely to change roles. This is great for some, but if you feel like you need a title change style promotion you may not find it. As the company grows these issues will work themselves out.
