      A veil of a great place to work, but financials proved stronger.

      Pros

      A great and collaborative environment. Internal promoting. Benefits from day one. Competitive salary and benefits.

      Cons

      They love to talk both internally and externally about how great they are and how much they care about their employees. Though when COVID first struck, after many company wide meetings about promises that there wouldn’t be staff cuts, they then went and quietly cut a bunch of staff. Tried to hush it up with large severance packages and a contract to not mention it for a duration afterwards.

      Pros

      Staff are approachable, office located in the core downtown, and mid year/year end bonuses are given.

      Cons

      Don't let them fool you. They care more about how much they are making than their staff. Turn over is high, and they are in denial that it's them and keeps claiming how it is normal. One company philosophy does not work and they force it on you. Toronto is the HQ, not Calgary. Yet, Calgary has a complex, but with how things look in the office, it might as well be HQ. They spend money on the unnecessary, but refuse to spend on what matters.

      Great projects, plenty of learning resources, young staff, heavy social media efforts

      Cons

      Closet bias within management, morbidly slow career progression, watch out for the one “leader” that’s regularly day drunk on the job pitching underestimates to clients and blaming others for the misjudgement
