A world of opportunities!

Pros

Fu and energetic environment working with great people. You are handed a lot of responsibility and the keys to your own business to run it how you and your team seem fit! You are trusted with your own business and can grow it how you like. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience and learn how to manage and develop a team, it is fantastic experience where every day there is something new to learn.

Cons

At an airport business it is shift work, some people would look at this as a downside because it is not your 9-5; however with shift work your day finishes earlier and you tend to get a lot more done with it vs office hours!

Great Potential, Ruined by Poor Management and Toxic Culture

Pros

You have the potential to earn really good money, with clear opportunities for progression. 99% of promotions are internal, so almost everyone in management started out as a Management Trainee — which is motivating and shows that advancement is achievable. Career growth isn’t limited to your existing specialisation or educational background; you can move into completely new areas and develop new skills. You’ll meet some truly amazing people and form lasting friendships, as there are many great colleagues here. There are also opportunities to travel with work, adding variety and experience to your role.

Cons

Expect 55+ hour weeks as standard, with no overtime pay. Promotions often put untrained, incompetent managers in charge, creating chaos from the top down. Travel is less a perk and more a demand to prove loyalty, with zero regard for family life. The culture is cliquey, political, and operates like a corporate pyramid scheme — those at the top profit from the pressure piled on those below. Hiring favours young 20-somethings with no outside commitments, while more mature candidates are quietly filtered out. Don’t be fooled by the endless “employer of choice” and “diversity” awards — inside, the reality is nothing like the image they sell. Toxic management, unrealistic expectations, and constant favouritism keep staff turnover sky-high.
