Pros

- Lots of career opportunities - Good work life/balance and flexible working arrangements for those who need them - In house gym, shower facilities and health programs - High paid salaries (however this can also mean deadwood often stay even if they hate their jobs & in turn make other's lives miserable)

Cons

- It can be acceptable for some managers to constantly display unprofessional behaviours without penalty - Executives were made aware of the pending cost increases back in the late 2000s but chose to ignore them - Too many over-customisations of IT applications and too unnecessary staff whose jobs are to request more of these - Giving into the unions to often - Executives/managers often blaming IT for their own mistakes - Subject Matter Experts are often given the task of running projects without any project management skills which always ends in disaster - The title 'Project Manager' is used very loosely and given out too freely without any skills
