At the time I'm writing this, the rating of this company is 2.3. And quite frankly, I'm shocked it's that high. I knew from the day I sat across from the founders of this thing that my previously well-established and profitable agency was in big trouble. They talk all slick, lean way back in their chairs, chomp on gum and wax on about their careers and how they are industry visionaries. It was nauseating.
It was all downhill from that first meeting:
- a compensation cut from a reneged bonus promise
- no upper management visibility in our office
- reckless spending
- hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid vendor bills (vendors actually started to refuse our business after 90-120 days past due notices)
- as more and more employees started to crawl out of the box, little to no communication to clients or team members regarding coverage or even that they had left the company
- inappropriate and insensitive holiday party warning mass email from a company Principal
I will reiterate a message I've seen in many other reviews here....if you are acquired by Sandbox start looking for another position IMMEDIATELY. Do not drink the Kool-Aid.
