Pros
-Predictable work schedule, not expected to pull overtime
Cons
-Compensation is below industry average, and difficult to negotiate increases -Lack of basic organization and direction -All levels of management are severely deficient--managers will play favorites, and most of the data entry team have obtained employment through other employees who they are friends with, leading to a clique-ish, high-school like environment. -Severe lack of communication between managers and their 'team members'; for example although they say lunches are catered every Friday, information on when catered food is accessible to employees is not shared to employees. It's expected for employees to go seek out when premised food is ready. Minor, but another sign of bad communication and lack of basic organization. -Claim it is a 'start -up environment' when confronted about needing more help, direction, or organization--no real desires from management to become a modern, data-driven company. -In the time I spent there, (over 1 yr), not once did I have a performance review funnily. -In my time there, there were only 2 team lunches. Building team morale and bonding is even more important with the nature of how they hire at Fongenie, yet they neglected that to nurture morale and build bonds. Another sign of horrible workplace culture.
