Cons
My experience at intent.ly was extremely poor from the outset. The onboarding process was chaotic and under resourced; it lacked even the most basic structure and made it clear very quickly that employees are expected to fend for themselves. The company culture is toxic. The CEO regularly communicates in an aggressive and ego driven manner; often raising their voice and deflecting responsibility for wider company issues onto employees. This behaviour sets a hostile tone across the business and creates an environment driven by fear rather than leadership or accountability. Within the sales function in particular the management style is combative and undermining; it is not supportive or developmental. There is a complete disregard for work life balance. Employees are explicitly told that working beyond contracted hours is viewed as a sign of commitment and hard work; those who work their agreed hours are viewed unfavourably. This promotes presenteeism and burnout rather than sustainable performance. There is no genuine career progression within the business. Roles are static; development is not prioritised and performance has little impact on long term growth or advancement. The company operates a clear hire and fire mentality. High staff turnover is normalised; frequent hiring is followed by rapid exits which creates instability poor morale and a lack of continuity across teams. The technology offering is outdated and significantly misaligned with how it is marketed. Employees are encouraged to oversell or misrepresent product capabilities to prospective clients rather than address fundamental shortcomings; this raises serious ethical concerns. There is a clear and ongoing disparity in how men and women are treated within the organisation. This is reflected in both behaviour and compensation; noticeable pay gaps exist within the sales team despite equivalent workloads responsibilities and experience. Overall this is a company with deep rooted cultural leadership and ethical issues. If you are looking for stability transparency and long term growth this is not the place. If you want to work for a sinking ship then by all means apply.
