I appreciate you taking the time to share your service experience and your views regarding the benefit programs for our payrolled workforce. I would also like to thank you for the service you provided to our client(s). We developed our payrolled worker benefit programs several years ago, in alignment with competitive marketplace pricing, profitability of our product and with consideration of contingent, transitional employment. I agree that benefit offerings for a contingent workforce are not at par with traditional fulltime employment. This has become a bigger issue with the growth and expansion of the contingent workforce and “gig economy”. We began a hard look at our contingent workforce benefits late last year and will be implementing several changes and additions during the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year. While we expect there to continue to be differences in the benefits afforded to a contingent workforce vs. more traditional full-time regular employment, we are confident the changes and additions we are implementing will work towards closing the gap and providing more comprehensive offerings.
