Pros
- The office is pretty good and spacious
- Some very smart people are working there
- Decent benefits
Cons
It's the worst company I have worked for by a landslide.
- The culture is beyond toxic. Blame culture where people are getting yelled at in person and on Slack. This is somewhat encouraged by the C-level leadership, which either participates in this behavior or fails to address it when it happens.
- The codebases are abysmal. No unit or integration tests, very hard to onboard and contribute. There is no structured initiative or incentive to improve technical standards.
- There's no opportunity to grow, no feedback, no path for the future (company and people-wise). This has resulted in talented people becoming disengaged and performing at minimum acceptable levels. All this comes from a few people working for a long time who have resistance to change.
- They repeatedly hired C-level executives and senior management from outside organizations, only to terminate them when they proposed meaningful improvements or changes.
- Many members of C-level and upper management have minimal or no experience working at other organizations, resulting in a limited understanding of engineering best practices and modern workplace standards.
