Pros
A part time job that paid pretty well, to be clear? I was only paid decently because I was considered an "assistant manager" even though I was part time. Everyone else is hired minimum wage and raises are a joke. I loved the team I worked with in store and the manager was was great too.
Cons
All the normal cons that come with retail: rude customer, the hours, bi weekly pay, company changing policies and sales whenever they feel like, but to be honest to worst thing about the particular Francesca's I worked for was the district manager, Rose Hopkins. I've worked retail for 15 years and never encountered such a person. She does nothing to support the stores she's in charge of, bullys people, makes body shaming comments, allows customers to racist comments about staff, and no matter how hard your store has worked and how good your results are, she will still show up and tell what a bad job you're doing. I really don't know how she is still with the company when her favoritism is so clearly on display and store morale in her district is so low.
