Pros

One pro: I am finally gone.

Cons

Ruby Sahewal, the CEO, is the worst CEO I have ever worked for. He has no ethics, no shame, no business acumen, no charisma, and definitely no talent. He needs to be kicked out by the board. Running a Business Services company means you know a little bit about the industry. Ivan Ivankovich, the COO, used to be decent (when he was the Full Stack Finance owner, business unfortunately purchased by Escalon). He has now embraced the Escalon business model (Profit only, no regard for clients business, no regard for employees' wellbeing) and has become one of Ruby's puppets. All the other puppets have to be avoided like the plague (anyone with the word Head in their title). If you are a real accountant, accounting manager, controller, do not work here. If you failed at tax firms or in your HR carrier, apply immediately. This business is great for incompetent employees. If you were let go because of your lack of talent, you have a pretty good chance to succeed at Escalon.

Cons

More changes are still needed to streamline all operations.

Pros

Pros: Supportive and friendly coworkers Exposure to different areas of accounting and operations Structured onboarding

Cons

Cons: Dishonest communication from management Misleading handling of employee exits Poor respect for pre-approved time off Moved into roles without proper background or support No accountability or transparency in leadership decisions I worked at this company for just over two years in the accounting department, and my experience ended in an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional way. I was moved from onboarding to a customer success role, even though I was upfront that I didn’t have a sales background. Two weeks later, I was told I didn’t have the experience they needed and was let go. To make matters worse, this happened right before a two-week vacation I had scheduled six months in advance — my first real time off since joining. Then, the company told everyone internally that I had chosen to leave for a better opportunity, which was completely false. I found this out through friends I had referred to the company, and it was honestly shocking. It’s one thing to make a business decision, but another to completely misrepresent the truth. The lack of transparency and integrity from management was deeply disappointing. There are some genuinely kind and talented people who work there, but leadership’s behavior overshadowed any positives.
