Pros
In a marketplace where the goalposts are constantly shifting and challenges are around every corner, many businesses are fighting to stay alive, let alone ahead. In this environment, eBECS continues to grow. I believe, the secret to this is that there's no secret at all; its foundations are astute leadership supported by good people. Good people are hard to find and I am a firm believer that if you look after your employees then your employees will look after you/your business. In my personal experience, eBECS has proven to appreciate this and it is making a concerted effort to attract and retain good people. The Leadership Team are in the midst of delivering a strategy to take the company to the next level.
Cons
Consistent growth brings its own challenges such as a demanding work environment; where the need to deliver above and beyond what may be considered the norm, can be frequent. Tied into this is the fact that existing processes and procedures need to be constantly reviewed and updated to keep up with requirements, which some people may not have the patience for or find frustrating. However, I believe this is no different to most successful businesses; the key being that such effort (and the need to have the right tools for the job) is recognised and/or not taken advantage of and I feel eBECS holds this as a priority item.
