Pros

Not many left at this point. Only pro is the remote working policy - which is not fully accurate as employees in EMEA are forced to come in on mandatory team days and cannot move outside of designated cities

Cons

Where to begin? The lack of trust in employees, culture of hire and fire, and toxic micromanagement is abhorrent and the fact that these traits are actively encouraged by executive leadership is even more so. Employees are consistently micromanaged and pushed to the point of burnout. All benefits have been slashed or stopped completely and PTO is approved only based on high performance. Earlier in Q3 leadership openly said there will be no salary increases this year and then proceeded to announce a huge number of internal promotions shortly thereafter. Work/life balance is non-existent and the only people who get promotions are those who are connected 24/7 (even on PTO). Despite management’s false portrayal of a “radical candor” environment, employees are discouraged from speaking up for fear if being labeled as “negative” and “not a team player”. The E-Team consistently reiterate during company all hands how bold and iconic the vision is, but the truth is that the product and accuracy are radically reducing, customer churn and employee dissatisfaction are at an all time high, and every single e-team member (except the CEO) in the last 5 years has left or been let go. Data.ai is a sinking ship and its time to get off the boat.

Pros

- Great engineering talent, true ML/AI experts - The hardest working sales team I've ever seen - #dreamteam - Rockstar CS team who handled the most difficult clients imaginable. - Platform was powered by very hard to acquire data. No easy feat to collect the data in a ever changing environment. - Company events (when we had them) were always "Premium" - Overall compensation was very competitive

Cons

- Poor CEO leadership and vision. Ted was incredibly disappointing, I would not recommend him any capacity. - Final M&A motion was extremely disappointing. Nothing like seeing your equity going to $0 overnight. Total kick in the b@lls. - Product Roadmap was driven by vanity metrics and KPIs. CPO didn't drive the roadmap with revenue and TAM expansion in mind.
