- Career changing opportunity: Cocokind gave me the opportunity to step up and take on new things as the company grew. The potential to grow with the company alongside other ambitious people was one of the reasons I joined and one of the best parts about working there. I had also never worked with many women in my career until joining Cocokind; I truly valued the chance to work with primarily female leaders at the company and felt that my growth was supported every step of the way by Priscilla and others. - Mission-driven: the opportunity to work for a brand with core values and a strong mission shaped my experience at Cocokind. I felt that everyone at the company embraced and prioritized the mission and company values, which was exciting and motivating to be a part of. Cocokind truly walks the walk. - Personal growth & learning: Cocokind was full of ambitious yet extremely humble people across all teams and levels of the org. This created an environment where I felt comfortable and encouraged to learn from mistakes. The company is made up of smart people with high expectations and a high level of execution but I felt there was always room to learn and be open about when I wasn’t sure about something or needed help. In a fast-paced startup where you end up wearing many hats and can end up taking on different functions, I felt Priscilla set the right tone as CEO to help push each other to succeed while also feel supported through challenges.

- Cocokind is a high-growth startup that can move at a very fast pace so there are times when roles and responsibilities aren’t as structured or require flexibility. This has evolved since I joined, as the company grows, but is a reality at any startup that can be exciting sometimes and challenging at others.
