Pros
cj's an awesome place to work in general. The leadership team is flexible and approachable (including the CEO & VP), everyone is happy to be there, etc. On top of the general structure and atmosphere of the company - there's also:
-unlimited PTO (ROWE work environment)
-ROWE work environment also means you can work from home whenever you need - and take as long as you need with misc. personal appointments.
-bring dogs to work
-casual dress
-random free lunch leftovers from big meetings (happens a lot, awesome for people like me who always forget their lunch)
-convenient downtown nashville location (so much more stuff going in by Cummins and the Gulch)
-monthly morale surveys that leadership reviews (and addresses problems accordingly, small or large problems)
-beer camels occasionally come by with beer on friday afternoons (or special holiday afternoons)
-all departments send their employees to training at LEAST once a year
-collaborative environment with a lot of fun people - both on a peer and boss level. you can shape your role there if you're down to put in the work. your boss WILL listen.
Cons
-traffic in the area is getting bad with all the construction... and will only get worse.
-salary is generally way below market average - and while the perks are definitely awesome, there are plenty of other companies with awesome perks who ALSO pay all of their employees really well. honestly, I wouldn't say we're all vastly UNDER paid, it's just that appreciation isn't shown through that. Let's be honest, getting told "great job" and "thank you" is SUPER important, but if you're busting your butt all the time and aren't getting paid fairly, you still don't feel that valued.
