Pros

Flexibility definitely is one key strength of the company. You can work remotely whenever you need and it is particularly appreciated by working parents. I am working at BuzzBack for almost a decade and it is like a family for me. Everyone helps each other a lot, have fun together and 40% have been working in the company for over 5 years. I made very good friends at BuzzBack. Fun activities are organized very often: free lunch, work anniversary, happy hours, Olympics, etc. Employee turnover is mostly among the young employees who realized market research is not for them or want to have a more straightforward career path in a larger company. It is a woman owned company with a lot of women in the management team but more males have joined the company in the past few years. I think also that the management has made a lot of efforts in the past years to be more transparent about the company strategy and more collaborative.

Cons

It's a small company (only about 40 employees) and the career path is not as linear as it could be in larger market research companies. Opportunities to grow are limited because of its size but if you are proactive and creative you can build your own position. The workload can be heavy at some time of the year.

Pros

There is a true sense of teamwork, flexibility and growth at buzzback, especially within individual teams. You put in the work for each other when everyone needs it, and get that flexibility and work-life balance back. Management is conscientious of personal and professional growth and balance - prioritizing employee morale activities and events, even remotely. And there is a true eye towards innovation - if you have an idea, buzzback can make it come to life. Benefits, working from home and paid time off are great compared to other companies.

Cons

Clients keep coming back because the team does a good job - so the workload can be full. Late nights put in do get balanced out with time off awarded. The company is currently 'in-between' some HR employees and working to find the right ones, so it's a transitional period.

Pros

Started at buzzback in April and every single person I've come in contact with has been so welcoming since my first day. Because the CEO herself is such a smart and driven, yet kind and down-to-earth person, the entire organization is really able to thrive. Leadership teams are adamantly accessible and always lend an ear or jump in to support on projects when needed. While in-person attendance is only required four days/month to allow everyone the flexibility they need, there is always motivation to come into the office more often to bond with the team, share ideas, and work together face-to-face. Buzzback is a place where you will be seen, heard, and respected above all. If I had to describe working there in just a few words, I'd say it's a collective of extremely adaptable, highly intelligent, and curious individuals continuing to push the research envelope and deliver highly valuable work to some of the biggest names in tech, healthcare, CPG, and more -- and I am so happy to have found a place among them.

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but in any agency/firm where you're working for a multitude of clients, you will experience a need to balance your own workload and communicate your needs. If you're someone who is not yet attuned with this, buzzback is a great place to learn that! You will never feel unable to let your needs be known and always get support from your team.
