Pros

One of the best places to work in NJ...if you actually worked in the office.

Cons

1. The application and interview process was pretty normal, and what you'd expect out of most companies. After I got the job, I asked to start at a later date but they were not accommodating at all to my request and even made my request seem "absurd." 2. They lied about hiring me as a marketing associate, and lied about wanting to develop my marketing skills: they are strictly a sales company, and only care about having you sell Staples products to people who mostly don't want to see your face. 3. As I mentioned before, you don't spend much time at all at the office. In fact, you only spend a half hour to 45 minutes in the office listening to some cult-like pep talk before being ferried off to a neighboring county in your state. Here, you'll travel along with a salesman or saleswoman at one rank higher and they'll introduce you to a myriad of people that hate them. You'll end up harassing 20-30 people each day who don't want you to bother them at work asking them to buy reams of paper or a new printer. 4. At the end of your first several days, you will realize close to nobody you interact with actually wants to see your face.

Pros

The best part about Blumarc is the people and the way they care for one another. Aside from the individuals within Blumarc, the opportunity for growth is like no other. If you are someone that is looking for a fun work environment, where you can also experience rapid growth; Blumarc is the place for you!

Cons

Blumarc forces you to get out of your comfort zone and grow into someone/ something you didn' t think would be possible. If you're not looking to get pushed out of your comfort zone and grow within a company, this might not be the right company for you.

Pros

Although I only worked here for a short time you can tell the office, overall, was a very close knit group. They have great bonding nights and everyone seems to get along very well even though it is a competition amongst colleagues.I can see why it is a best rated place to work for this reason.

Cons

BluMarc lies. They tell you in both interviews (two total, one with the manager and one with a trainer) that it is a marketing firm.. It is not. Trust me, they are very good at working and stretching the truth by carefully selecting their wording. Do not let this fool you, they are a straight up B2B(going door to door to other businesses) selling Quill products, which are office supplies. When you go out in the field BluMarc doesnt even get mentioned. Their sales pitch just states they represent Quill, a Staples brand.. Nothing about Blumarc. Melissa, the manager and CEO at the Bridgewater location, is in charge of the Quill selling products, while the other manager at the office(apparently) is in charge of the marketing with the Fortune 500 companies they pride themselves on. They make you seem, since you interview with her you will be apart of the marketing perspective, false. Oh and they are 10 hour days, not that it matters I believe they told me that but yeah. 100% commission too even though they tell you paid training.
