Pros

bieMEDIA's only Pros would have to be the people that you get to work with on a daily basis. And I mean the employees, not the corporate staff. There are a ton of creative hard-working, under-utilized and under-paid people that are stuck there. There is electricity and running water. Hmm, struggling to find any other positives. If you enjoy earning as much or less than you would at coffee shops but with much less reward or fulfillment then bieMEDIA is a great place for you.

Cons

I was a director at bieMEDIA for quite a few years and I quickly realized how parasitic and negative a company it was and still is. It wasn't until I left and reconnected with the real working world that I realized how awful bieMEDIA is to its employees, part time, full-time, and even the contractors. The "at least you are lucky enough to have a job because of us" attitude the CEO and COO present is only the tip of the iceberg. The dismal pay and company policy AGAINST raises, even cost of living increases does in fact force employees to become something of an indentured servant. There are no real hopes for progress or upward mobility but they sure are dangled enticingly close to each poor employee in their cubicles. I would caution anyone with any hopes to further their careers in the arts, video, or digital worlds to strongly look elsewhere as bieMEDIA continues to slip further and further behind the curve. Ask around.

Pros

Great company to work for. CEO and COO keep a very unique environment Lots of good people to work with and socialize. Worked there for 5 years and always got the support I needed. Didn't want to leave but my wife was relocated. Great benefits and flexible when need be

Cons

Repetitive work, but better than not having any work.

Pros

The co-workers are awesome people who are unfortunately stuck there along with you. It is located downtown so you are close to many bars to drink away your feelings about being a slave after work.

Cons

The uppers are really, really dishonest people and have 0 concern for the employees that work there. There has never been an instance where they praised anyone for their hard work, extra hours (unpaid) or diligence in working for a dishonest company. There are 0 opportunities for raises.
