Pros

There is a prevailing drive here. Few, if any, of my colleagues lack in their drive for personal success, and they all take DicoverOrg's success to heart. It's a remarkable environment in which to work. DiscoverOrg is very competitive, but equally very nurturing. Basically, "work hard and we'll do everything we can to help you grow and become stronger and better at your craft." I've been in sales for a long time and I've never experienced anything like it. From the very top down, and I mean at the CEO level, everyone is accessible, everyone is visible, and no-one's ego is so great that they are unwilling to jump in and get their hands dirty. Plus, there's tons of opportunity for personal and professional growth, with little to no drama. It's an extremely special environment.

Cons

I don't know that I have any legitimate "cons", per se. I have things I'd change if I were in charge, but that's different to me. It's a great place to work, with a company-wide drive for success and growth. Nothing bad about that at all. I only wish I had found DiscoverOrg a decade ago.

Your headline title says it all, and we couldn't agree more! DiscoverOrg has an amazing group of driven and motivated people that are out to succeed as a team. And when we're not at work, we're having fun traveling, biking, hiking, working out, going to yoga, trading baby pics, or going out on the town together. Regarding unlimited PTO, this really is in our opinion a benefit for the company and not employees (see this article on Inc. http://www.inc.com/gene-marks/why-unlimited-paid-time-off-is-bad-for-your-employees.html). For example, with "unlimited" PTO you can't cash out unused PTO that you haven't taken, which we offer all employees each December. So instead of gimmicks we're doing more to provide useful benefits, including increasing our PTO for many employees in 2017 as well as giving all employees 4 paid sick days at year starting in 2017.

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.

Pros

Great management in the CS org. Very little micromanagement, and lets you do your job as you see fit. Promotes work life balance and tend to be real people. Collaborative teams, usually willing to help each other out wherever needed. Good room for growth if you are performing well and are vocal about wanting to move up.

Cons

Salary could be higher for the market, and for how many products you are expected to work with and specialize in. Communication from marketing and leadership directly to clients could be more effectively communicated to the client facing roles prior to reaching the client.
