The culture has serious structural problems. Layoffs are reframed as reorgs with little transparency — you find out through rumors or after the fact. Strategy shifts constantly; product direction changes monthly, making it hard to build anything durable or advance your career in a meaningful direction.
Career growth is real only if you’re in a high-visibility area and willing to self-promote aggressively. Doing good work quietly doesn’t move the needle. Credit-taking and territorial behavior are rewarded over collaboration.
Leadership tone is a problem. The CEO has publicly berated employees during all-hands meetings, which creates a culture of fear that trickles down. People learn to stay quiet rather than raise real issues.
