Global forecast calls are normal. But successful executives come to those meetings to add value. The execs here join those calls to receive the news. It’s as if it’s the first time they are getting the information and you have to slow it down for them so they understand. In a world where clients are moving to a platform play and niche players need to offer significantly differentiated value there is just not a seat at the table for this company. They neither help with the platform play nor do they offer clearly unique value. This company will die.
Cons
There is no product. Customers churn all the time. I’ve never heard of a company that doesn’t demand more from the product. Not sure how this could ever be an acquisition target unless they’re being acquired for their ARR, and even then you better get into the details.
