Pros

Everyone's true passion for the mission is a big benefit in helping to drive the product and company forward. Yet, the team may care about each other just as much as the mission, which is probably why it has one of the strongest collaborative cultures I've ever been a part of.

Cons

Combining the team's passion and drive with a true desire not to let each other down can sometimes translate into individuals pushing too hard.

Pros

There are so many positive things going on at BSH. First, our main goal is to improve peoples life and health for the better. What a goal. On top of that, this fast-paced, high-performing team has no ego involved whatsoever. I couldn't ask for better co-workers and management to be in this organization with. Also, new for the summer – every other Friday off! 🌞🙌

Cons

Working remote, specifically during Covid can make things lonely, and it will take longer to get to know (and to stay in touch) with your co-workers. Would love to the company offering a 401k match.

Pros

+ Remote first / flexible work schedules / global team + Leadership truly promotes work / life balance (really) + Small team = you can get s**t done (provided you have the drive) + Pleasantly surprised at how easy cross functional teamwork has been so far + Resilient team of health-focused self-starters + True focus and continued conversations on iterating our mission and values

Cons

+ Remote first is amazing, but there is no substitute for in person interactions and building professional and personal rapport IRL — be sure remote is for you + I don't see this as a con, but I'm sure many may not function well without the infrastructure that comes after scaling — get ready to figure things out!
