Pros
At ZenMarket, in the marketing team, you will have a good international team environment and they provide a working visa for foreigners.
Cons
Sadly, there are major points I should mention if you plan to join ZenMarket. I will start with the lack of trust from the CEOs, they will micro-manage all the team leaders and your opinions don't matter. During the pandemic, we were sent to their warehouses to build shelves, packing parcels and doing different manual work which we were not qualified for. As a marketer, I felt very offended hearing from them that the marketers were the less busy in the company so only our department should go and help the warehouse workers. Their company policies kept changing during the pandemic and they made many last minute decisions about teleworking. We worked remotely on and off, they even obliged us to install a software in our computers to track our activities and take screenshots of your screen every 3 minutes. Obviously our health wasn't their priority. If you join ZenMarket, please don't become pregnant before you turn seishain (it's three years before you have access to that in Zenmarket), otherwise they won't renew your contract if you are on a maternity leave. This is just one of the example among many others that made people leaving the company in a short-period of time. Since the company has been founded, they managed to only have 1 person located overseas to take care of the entire website and information technology. As an e-commerce website, how can you think of growing very fast, setting high objectives with just one person dealing with the front-end and the back-end? We had many projects that never saw the light, and probably never will.
