Pros
The company has good benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K, flex plans, commuter plans, supports employees in attending industry events and pays for professional memberships). There is independence to work and some of their employees are great mentors. It's a young crowd and they can be a lot of fun. Bi-yearly bonus are nice too.
Cons
The biggest down side to this place is their main principal and the one who runs the show. If he likes you, you can do great, though this can change quickly, so don't get too comfortable in this blissful state of mind. Once he starts disliking you (which happens randomly and out of the blue - saw it happen to several people), he starts checking up on you and getting on you for every little thing, even if you've produced great work and took care of your projects and clients. The sad thing is that nobody in the office will stand out for you, even if they like you. And the way he gets on you is beyond unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. I don't know if there was ever a lawsuit, but I can guarantee this principal provides plenty of grounds for this to ensue. I say, there are many good companies for a structural engineer, don't bother going here.
