Pros
-Great Benefits
- Laid back work atmosphere
Cons
- This company does not value young professionals whatsoever. Within this culture if you are below 40, you will automatically be underestimated. My advice to those below 40: take your career elsewhere where there will be appreciation for your talent, time, and opinions.
- This company does not appreciate change or ideas for change in order for efficiency improvements to occur. Not only do they not appreciate them, they are turned down and you are scolded for them.
- They pride themselves so much in the rigorous benefits package that they offer, that they allow themselves to hold this over employees' heads as they impose an increasingly negative work culture, and they hold back on salary's they employees actually deserve for their positions and work responsibilities
- The company is very misleading during the interview process as to what your job description is in comparison to what your job will actually entail once you enter into employment. You will be stuck with tasks that were not advertised to you and you will not be appreciated for them. You will then be scolded if you suggest those tasks to be handled in a different way or moved elsewhere to where it may make more sense. They will also make the job seem more attractive during the interview process, then it actually will be.
- Extremely old school culture that shows no signs of changing. The majority of employees are over 40 and are awaiting retirement. This is the reason why the turnover is so low.
- Little to no opportunity for career advisement and learning growth.
