Pros

The people were great and there was a good working atmosphere if you avoided the politics .You were allowed to work with minimum supervision as long as job was done.

Cons

Senior management are dreadful and completely out of touch with their employees. You could only progress if you were one of the "chosen ones" and this was normally based on personality rather than performance, with many managers being unaware of what their employees actually did. There was no recognition or reward for "going the extra mile" and no loyalty to the employees. Without a complete clear out of all Senior a management the business will probably fail within 12 months, being broken up and sold off to make Shareholder profits, with no account for the very hardworking employees. Management had NO people management skills and treated their employees as Liabilities rather than true Assets they are

Pros

For technical jobs, the opportunity to be involved in the development of a very exciting technology and state of the art products, strong benefit package, work with some talented people,

Cons

Lack of strong management, sweatshop mentality, very sad lack of overall direction for company and divisions within company, very poor communication to workforce, poor treatment of line employees and professional workforce by majority of managers. Often one hand does not know what the other is doing. Very political environment has created an environment of general fear of speaking out which curtails creativity at many levels. The general knowledge that once a product is developed it will be off shored to the Malaysia manufacturing site. Vested ownership of engineering is difficult if not impossible in this scenario.
