Pros

Cons

Terrible Senior management team: - Does not care about employees, their growth, feedback or experience. They care about sales number and money they bring in. - Does not care about customer service quality. Only quantity. - No work life balance as they directly encourages employees to work extra hours and weekend whereas there are no over time pay. They show it as if you are doing a great community service No personal growth: - No employees development plan or acknowledgement of success. You have to ask for everything you want otherwise they will not even notice you even when you are the top performer - They made the bonus look good but very unrealistic and unattainable Toxic culture: - Long hours of employees are not recognized where as if you are 10 mins late, you are penalized - They will show as if they are listening to employees but any work that gets implemented are what they wanted - The top management never speaks with the employees to understand the need of the team - Even if you leave and you have been there for years, they will not talk to you or have an exit interview to ask your opinion

Although I’m sorry you did not have a positive experience at FieldEdge, I do want to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. As part of the senior management team, I take your input to heart. You're correct in that we care about Sales, but we also care about every other department and their integral role in the success and growth of this organization. Growing the company by bringing more customers into the FieldEdge family allows us to continue to invest more into our product and the service we provide to our customers. I also firmly believe in our product and know it will make a positive difference in the lives of our customers. I also regret that you feel your voice wasn’t heard while you were at FieldEdge. Given our rapid growth, sometimes we may drop the ball in this area and for that, I’m sorry. I am a firm believer in an open door policy with total transparency up, down and across the organization. In fact, I just recently hosted a number of round-table discussions across all offices with employees at all levels to understand what’s working and more importantly, what’s not. We’re beginning to make a number of changes as a result of those discussions. In fact, your comment on Glassdoor has resulted in a change to our Exit Interview process. Historically, when an employee announces they are leaving, they were sent a survey to understand why. If there are concerns, our HR department would reach out to them to better understand the concerns. Given what happened to you we have changed the process so that every employee will receive an in-person exit interview. In summary, I do appreciate your input. We’re obviously not perfect but strive to improve each and every day. I would be happy to discuss more of your concerns via phone at 678 488-7079. Even though you’ve left FieldEdge I’m still interested in your point of view since your experience and insights will help us improve as a company and employer. Connie Certusi FieldEdge President

Explor Ever since Explor was purchased by a PE firm, every aspect of the company to the most granular detail has effectively gone up in flames. For anyone who needs context, PE firms are parasites that steal exorbitant amounts of money from the companies they buy out - and then they have 26 year old matcha drinking ‘financial associates’ in some high rise in NYC make pivotal business decisions that negatively affect hundreds of employees’ lives all because they learned in an MBA class that making the ‘costs’ line in the Excel spreadsheet go down would make the ‘profit’ line go up. The first ‘strategic’ business decision made was to cut down on software developers (to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel), which has resulted in a WORSE product - then they hiked the price on customers (Again, to make the ‘profit’ line go up in Excel) which as anyone would have expected, enraged ALL our customers. The resultant employees who didn’t abruptly leave are now tormented daily with more and more ignoramus ‘strategic’ business decisions and treated like ants that a child is playfully burning alive with a magnifying glass. If you want to be treated with any human dignity whatsoever, Explor will not be a good fit for you. However, if you want every day at work to feel like you are a participant in the Stanford Prison Experiment while simultaneously having to take calls at all hours from every customer who wont stop asking “Why does the software I pay money for to run my business no longer work”, Explor will be the perfect future employer for you to take that big next step in your career.
