Pros

-Mission sounds cool until you realize it is a mirage

Cons

-CEO's behavior blocks and tarnishes company operations -Bloated leadership team (too many VPs on the dance floor) by design, diffuses accountability -Technology company with administrators and salespeople outnumbering technology team members (no CTO, no chief architect) -Effort focused on fundraising vs. building anything -Internal drama -Lack of diversity -Doing well at a role, one runs the risk of being sidelined or terminated UNLESS the role is to placate and flatter executives -Merit increases are not based on merit -Ethical violations abound in hiring and firing “processes”

Pros

Remote work, cool if you like learning how energy and renewables work

Cons

- Never saw the product. Saw demo videos on the website but was never shown how to log in and view the platform. - Leadership doesn't know how to train their hiring managers, hiring managers put a lot of plates on your shoulders and expect you to carry it without asking for help. Similar to a startup where they tell you to scale but don't give you the resources nor enough time to do so. - Had a great performance review then was fired because my manager didn't like that I made one minor mistake on a project. Couldn't communicate to me transparently, instead asked me to document all my work that same week and then surprised me with a 1on1 check-in call which HR ended up joining as she blatantly told me today is my last day. - Lots of millenial and boomer coworkers that change your work because they didn't like how it sounded. - At the New York office, no one leaves before 5 pm. I was there until 6 and my team member snitched that I had left and wasn't professional because I wanted to be home for dinner on a Friday night?
