Pros

Pay is competitive compared to lateral positions in the market

Cons

Policies are being implemented that hourly employees are not fully aware of. We have little transparency with them until it is too late for them. We make the rules up as we go. Terrible culture created by upper HR/legal that is so far removed from field HR/ operations. It is sad to see this for the hard-working employees that provide us a paycheck.

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
