Nice company but some poor polices leaving valuable employees with no incentives to stay after merge - Senior Manager Wyeth Employee Review

Great working environment and nice people, great products.

Poor compensation/ incentive policies. The latest pfizer merge severance package was designed so poor that an employee who joined the company for one day will get the same package as another who have served the company for 8 years if they both make 100k . Another example is Long Term Incentive (LTI) Policy - clearly ill designed to let long-term employees disappointed and felt punished. The LTI which worthes tens of thousands of cash value was only awarded to employees who earn more than ~105k regardless the grade level and performance. Since employees stay in the company longer tend to have relative lower salary, and they are more likely to be victimized by this policy, and these employees who may be very vaulable (high ROI) will have no incentive to stay after merge closing. It is very unfortunate.
