work/life balance maybe - Project Coordinator World Wide Technology Employee Review

Pros

In certain roles there is ability to establish a work life balance. Company encourages open door policy for discussions and learning about other teams. Benefits are solid and the company provides some learning resources.

Cons

Pay is under market for my area. Employees are always told that there is little profit margin in company projects as a reason why salaries and annual increases are so low. Some projects overwork their employees and professional services won't log hours over 40 so as not to throw off their utilization metrics.

Pros

Remote work was nice. Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

- Toxic, toxic, toxic - Zero work life balance - Lots of back stabbing going on. Too many management changes. Everyone has to claw for things in a negative way to get anywhere. - Bro culture and a company founder who prays and preaches at company meetings? That should NEVER happen. - No inclusivity. They say DEI is important but when the leaders are praying and seemingly right wing that doesn't reflect. - "Great Place to Work" is a total scam. They basically make you do it, talk about it constantly, remind you to take the surveys, even say how to rate. It's disingenuous. - Over-worked and ran PM's too thin, then when you get too burned out to do your job effectively you're not supported. I was running multiple projects during the day and had another project that required 12 am, 2am meetings as it was an Asian customer. I had no balance, no sleep, zero support. Instead of mitigating it, they wrote me up because I forgot something trivial (so trivial I don't even remember what it was). I was so stressed my hair literally fell out! I was so grateful to have another company headhunt me so that I could quit. TOXIC!
