Pros

The benefits are very low cost to employee. The people you work with are incredibly diverse. WWT tries to set themselves apart from the pack by providing an incredible amount of resource streams to employees directed for feedback and personal development. WWT welcomes feedback and provides many safe mediums to share. Feedback is often acted upon here, not just "looked into." WWT provides an onsite health center free to all employees and takes strides to get involved with positive initiates such as assisting in employee driven fundraisers, as well as investing heavily into charities. The overall feeling of WWT is very caring and inviting.

Cons

WWT insists that pay is competitive, it is not. For this reason WWT is struggling immensely to find staff. Staffing problems are getting so dire that WWT has resorted to high school "interns." WWT insists their culture is what drives success. It has been letting the company down for a while now and continues to do so. Case in point one of the culture initiatives "embrace change" has led to a revolving door of management structure with constantly changing processes. This cripples the company's workflow due to lack of solidified processes. WWT also has a very questionable way of promoting. I have seen many "friends" of management, make it to management. More proof of that is blatantly obvious from other reviews posted here. WWT receives this feedback consistently from unhappy employees who see friends or family members of management promoted but yet WWT insists the hiring process is sound. WWT has deep pockets and flaunts them quite often, but when it comes to buying gear or refreshing equipment for employees, they penny pinch. The WWT integration labs are also plagued by faulty cables, glitchy equipment, and ebay purchased servers/switches that are actually running production environments. WWT volume projection data is seriously flawed or severely incomplete. Time and time again WWT miscalculates staffing needs as they juggle available resources around to meet product demand. The system leads to a small group of employees being worked for months due to over capacity requirements, or employees scraping tape off the warehouse floors due to overstaffing for a low volume project.

Thanks. Outreach to local trade/ tech schools was a choice that was made to help diversify and augment our existing talent sources. Our compensation ranges are derived from professional third party data (not crowd sourced) to ensure we are always paying competitively. If there is any equipment you need to do your job, please speak with someone directly to help explain what you need. As has been mentioned in corporate updates and townhalls, WWT is being impacted by global supply chain issues. We are doing our best to navigate these challenges and appreciate your support throughout this. Thank you.

Pros

My manager was very supportive she would give great feedback and try to help me grow . The people were awesome. My coworkers were great and supportive.

Cons

For all the projects we had regional managers there was one that had it out for me. This person was relentless and I went to my manager. The problem I had with this person was they never stop coming after me and my manager tried to stop this person in their tracks, but they tried a way to come after me. My manager’s manager was kind of not a good manager because he was all about the numbers and he didn’t care about the person. He never once had a one-to-one conversation with me I noticed that he played favorites with people and it’s just not good to do that. I believe that as a senior manager, you have to get to know your team instead of hearing what other people say. There was a senior project manager out there who essentially threw me under the bus. When people would resign, all of the projects that were left behind by the previous person they would dump it on one person. It is a lot of work to dump on a person. Some managers would help you grow and there are others that will do the work behind your back on a project. There was one who would start adjusting my project numbers and get mad at me. Mind you this was my first year and this manager would throw me under the bus. “Great Workplace?” Please
