Pros

Well, well, well. Read the news before joining this organization.

Cons

This workplace is a textbook example of the “Dead Sea Effect”. The good people leave, and the mediocre stay. Over time, many of those who stay end up managing the people who are far more capable than they are. Instead of rewarding competence and integrity, the culture rewards politics, loyalty to the right people, and keeping your head down. Don't challenge the status quo cuz you will not be appreciated. Eventually, they will push you out due to whatever reasons. It's really horrible watching talented, hardworking people walk out one after another while the same underperforming managers stayed comfortably in place. After a while, you realize this isn't an accident. The system rewards the people who fit into it, not necessarily the people who are best at their jobs.

Pros

This organization is constantly evolving but I think generally in the right direction. Great place for those who strive in unstructured environments.

Cons

Hours can be long and you have to enjoy travel.

Pros

Great exposure to ideas, good broad experience that can be applied to other jobs

Cons

Lots of infighting at the top, leaks down to lower levels. The Forum makes poor hiring decisions and teams suffer.
