Pros

Global experience, nice people for the most part, interesting work, good benefits if not on local package

Cons

Highly political institution which does not care about its employees or clients, all what management cares about is the Board and their own job security. Mediocre managers who are terrible at managing people, a lot of junior people who do heavy lifting leave because there is no upward mobility. If you want a promotion you are forced to apply for open positions in other teams and less desirable locations, there is no incentive for AIO/IOs to put in extra effort in their current teams as rewards are absent. Junior staff are treated like commodities, expected to move around every 3 yrs if they want career progression, all this comes at cost of divorced families, abandoned children and destroyed health.
