Pros

The salary was pretty above average (pre-layoffs) and they try to do a fair amount of in-person meet ups like company events and team events.

Cons

Poor management. Was promised a promotion but HR and management decided to back out last minute essentially feeling like I was being gaslighted into thinking I will get the promotion.

Lots of room & trust to own what you're doing. Micromanagement only occurs if you're not performing and expectations were clearly communicated. Product is a leading contender in the space and consistently improving.

Cons

Upward mobility was tight due to the tech downturn.
