Pros
Health and dental insurance which is rare in this kind of industry for techs. Occasional company outings that can be fun. Best of all is 4 day workweek most of the time, but you are so tired from work that you don't have the energy to do anything with that extra day off.
Cons
Very small company so not much opportunity of advancement unless the more veteran employees either get fired or quit, which has happened a lot recently. Typical day as tech long hours on your feet. If equipment breaks or any problems on the job "it is what it is" attitude from management. Most of the technicians are great guys but management has no problem working everybody to death until we are exhausted. No outside work-life balance at all. Pulling 10-14 hour days working physical labor, all you want to do when you get home is shower, eat and go to bed. Huge favoritism, especially shown toward the sales team. Treat sales much better than they treat the technicians who are actually completing the work. If you have kids DO NOT WORK HERE. You will be too tired to enjoy your life outside of work. Mandatory Saturdays during the peak season too. Pay is not worth the amount of work done, even during peak season, leading to very high turnover rate. Great for a college kid looking for a summer job and stay active, but it is no way a career.
