Pros

2-3 hours of actual paper work, taking the last check-ins/walk-ins, and answering phones. There is a good amount of down time if you can manage the hours.

Cons

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your dedication to the Night Auditor role over 5-7 years — that kind of long-term commitment truly speaks volumes! We're glad to hear the workload felt manageable and that there was some breathing room built into the role. We also hear your feedback loud and clear: the night shift schedule is a real adjustment, and the repetitive nature of the work can be a challenge over time. Most importantly, your reminder to recognize the night audit team is one we take to heart. The work you and your colleagues do overnight keeps our operations running smoothly, and that deserves to be seen and appreciated. If you have further concerns you would like to share with us, we encourage you to contact our HR business partner at HRBP@whitelodging.com. Thank you again for the honest and constructive feedback — it helps us continue to improve the experience for our team members. We wish you all the best!

Pros

There are many growth opportunities, even outside of your current department, which allows for career development across different areas. White Lodging is genuinely one of the best companies I’ve worked for. Even when visiting different properties, each team has its own unique, family-like culture, which makes a positive difference considering how much time we spend at work.

Cons

Some positions may require longer days and a variable schedule, which is common in this industry. While holidays are not always guaranteed off, I personally don’t mind the flexibility that comes with that.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review! We’re especially glad to hear that our teams create a supportive culture at each property. It’s important to us that associates feel both valued and empowered to develop their careers in ways that are meaningful to them. We also appreciate your candid feedback about scheduling and the demands that can come with certain roles. As you noted, flexibility is a key part of the hospitality industry, but we understand the importance of balance and continue working to support our teams in managing their schedules as effectively as possible. Thank you again for your perspective and for being part of what makes our culture so special!

Pros

White Lodging is very welcoming and treats their employees like family. They respect your time off, which a lot of other companies do not. Amazing benefits. Orientation was extremely helpful. Plenty of opportunities for growth.

Cons

Very high standards but I wouldn't say that's a con. If you're not up for a challenge and you do not want to grow this is not the company for you.

Thank you so much for sharing this — it genuinely warmed our hearts! Hearing that you feel confident, enjoy coming to work, and trust that your manager is invested in both your career and your well-being is exactly what we strive for at White Lodging. We love that you called out our high standards as "honestly not a con" — that perspective is what sets great hospitality leaders apart, and it's clear you're already embracing that culture with enthusiasm. Thank you for the incredible energy you bring to your role every day. We're so glad to have you on the team and look forward to supporting your growth!
