Time management isn't something that can be trained but through this job it was something I had to learn. Additionally, at times where I felt too much pressure, my boss was someone I could comfortably go to and ask for a break.

A lot of my team members quit as they couldn't handle the pressure. This almost influenced me to throw the towel in as well.

The Office of Student Life and Development has a lovely, supportive team. It is a great place to be a part of, and yo u truly feel your impact on the school and the students' lives. There are students in the on campus government team and event teams, and they are a joy to work alongside. I had such ana amazing time being a small part of a strong team!

The beginning and end of the school years are always a busy time! I wouldn't say it's a con, just something to keep in mind.
