Pros

None worth mentioning ... ... ... ...

Cons

Not a nice place to work. Limited benefits, pay rates are below market standards, no pay rises or bonuses. Standard week is minimum 40hrs to 50hrs regardless if you are wages or salary so you work longer hrs for less pay than many other employers. Systems do not meet business needs so lots of re work and work arounds. Poor communication across business nationally. Low morale and high turn over. No on boarding, you are pretty much ignored as a new employee and expected to quickly pick systems and processes up with little to no training. I ignored warnings about this employer before I accepted the job and should have listened.

Pros

None to mention here - absolutely terrible recruitment experience

Cons

As many other people here have mentioned, the Recruitment experience at Westrac is terrible. After submitting my details for a senior role, I was contacted by the Westrac Recruitment team & offered an interview, which i accepted. I prepared for the interview & spoke to a member of the Westrac Executive team along with a member of the Recruitment team about the role; i believe it went well. Naturally the last part of the interview was to discuss what might happen next & i was assured I would be contacted "within the week; we are hoping to move very fast on this role". Of course nothing happened within the week. So i left it 3 weeks & then sent a follow up email. In the email response, again I was assured i would be contacted ASAP to advise of the outcome. Again, no response has been received.
