Being part of the Sales team at AngelList Talent is no joke. The workload, customer expectations, and team expectations are all high. Our individual and team goals are ambitious, and not easily attained. Management will push you to improve and grow, constantly. It's great - I came here wanting a challenge, and I got one.
Leadership puts their money where their mouth is, providing coaching and professional resources to help you grow. You have a ton of autonomy and the responsibility that comes with it, especially now that we're all remote.
Every team at the company really strong - full of bright, engaged, helpful people. The Sales team specifically is highly collaborative. We compete against our previous performances, not against each other.
The mission is meaningful - our product helps startups hire people, which in turn, gets people jobs.
Cons
It's definitely a high pressure environment, and you have to be very proactive with your own time management. You can work from anywhere, but often have to be available for PST hours.
Being part of a remote company can at times feel isolating - maintaining company culture requires a lot of individual effort, and that effort is not equal across the company.
