Pros

Colleagues are great and fun to work with.

Cons

Poor management that makes short-sighted decisions and leaves it to employees to sort out management's blunders. You're expected to handle last-minute decisions and changes constantly with no regards to a healthy work-life-balance, leading to burnout.

Pros

Very innovative company operating at the forefront of global gaming and creator marketing. High ambitions from day one to become the number one player globally, which creates a very driven and high-performance environment. A lot of empowerment, ownership, and self leadership. If you are ambitious, proactive, and want to build something big, there are huge opportunities to grow fast and take on significant responsibility early. You work with some of the biggest games, publishers, and creators in the industry on a global scale. The company is constantly evolving, testing new ideas, building new products, and trying to stay ahead of where the market is going rather than following trends. Great place for people who enjoy innovation, fast execution, change all the time, international business, and working closely with strategy, gaming culture, creators, and tech. There is strong exposure to senior stakeholders, global clients, and large-scale projects early in your career. If you perform well and take ownership, there are opportunities to grow into leadership roles or leverage the experience into top positions elsewhere in the gaming industry.

Cons

The environment is not for everyone. Expectations are high, the pace is fast, and there is a strong focus on performance and taking initiative yourself. If you need a lot of structure, clear step-by-step leadership, or constant guidance, it can be challenging. Sometimes low-performing people or internal politics can slow down the ambition and momentum of the company. There can occasionally be too much focus on being personal and friendly rather than fully business-minded and performance-oriented. Because the company moves fast and evolves quickly, structures and processes are sometimes built while scaling, which can create ambiguity or lack of clarity in certain areas. Success often depends heavily on your own drive, communication, and ability to lead yourself without waiting for instructions.

Pros

Great place to build confidence. You will often hear the same colleague tell different people they have a nice booty at the Christmas party. Very motivating. Make friends for life while you comfort each other crying in the bathroom. Enjoy extended time off when burnout keeps you at home. Vacation days also grow, not sure why. Leadership is very open and honest about what they think of people, sometimes to their face. Hierarchy is very clear. Some people in sales will shout at you because their work matters more than anyone else’s. Know your value when the CEO, after a few drinks, reminds everyone he can fire them at any time. Other times he flirts, which I guess is a bonus. A women’s group was created after poor survey results from women. This was quickly forgotten, but the women still meet for lunch, so something good came out of it. Leadership are great listeners. A real life group was formed with leaders present to discuss poor anonymous survey results about work life balance and bad leadership. Leaders were asked only to listen. Staff shared ideas on how leadership could improve. Leaders said they would return with actions. It has been ten months and this has never been mentioned again. But I'm sure they heard and actioned it!

Cons

None that I can think of.
