Pros

Unfortunately, none that made the experience worthwhile. The learning curve comes from surviving the environment, not from professional development.

Cons

Toxic culture: Leadership heavily micromanages and fosters an atmosphere of fear and mistrust. There is little regard for employee well-being or psychological safety. • Lack of recognition: Hard work and dedication are overlooked. Instead of support, employees often face criticism and condescension from the top. • Poor work-life balance: There is an unspoken expectation to be available 24/7. Messages sent outside of working hours require immediate responses, but requests for help or support are often delayed or ignored. • One-sided management: Certain managers are clearly favored despite multiple concerns raised by team members. Feedback is unwelcome, and differing opinions are often penalized. • Inadequate HR support: Reporting issues feels like a formality rather than a pathway to resolution. Employees are often asked to “formalize” complaints with no real follow-through, which discourages people from coming forward. • Lack of seriousness around workplace policies: Internal protocols intended to protect employee rights are inconsistently followed, creating an environment where people don’t feel safe or heard.
