- no pay for doctor appointment time, also with kids
- no help if you face challenges at the project
- no help if you are in conflict with someone
- if you want to change project, you have to find new project yourself
- if you are on a bench, you find new project yourself
- salary is same as in-house, but all consulting risks are there
