Cons
A ton of the "OG's" on the product side have left and therefore the product side is suffering. Some employees are aiming to grow and actually taking steps towards that BUT there are a ton of employees here that are so arrogant and entitled for absolutely no reason! 20 somethings who worked at coffee shops right before coming to Weave have this totally distorted "pay me what I'm worth" mentality. It truly blows my mind. People leave reviews and talk about the founders as if they actually knew them. That seems odd though when it's coming from people who have only worked here for a year or from people who didn't even work here long enough to have actually contributed to the early days culture. And I've heard way too many people talking about the new CEO and how the founders got pushed out. If these whiny people actually cared about the founders and what they were trying to achieve, they'd actually push to make Weave better rather that complain about the same dang thing on repeat. All these new hires hear about how great Weave used to be. But then they expect that same thing and feel like they are getting jipped when things are different. WEAVE EVOLVED. Get use to it! Just because things are different now doesn't mean Weave is any less awesome. People need to learn what it means to work hard. We aren't over here slinging 80lb bags of concrete or working 60 hours a week on our feet the whole time trying to keep people from dying right? Do we have to deal with unhappy customers? Sure. Do we get yelled at? Yep. But at the end of the day is your life really that freaking terrible because of Weave. Answer, NO. And if the answer is Yes then leeeaaavvve. Morale gets busted down because of money grubbing, ungrateful, entitled babies. I've worked here too dang long to have any patience to glad hand people who show up feeling like they are owed something. None of us are owed a thing.
