Pros
many reasons, It's one of the largest oil servicing company in the world and cutting edge technology. lots to learn if you want to learn.
Cons
Sometimes, you get a manager who favors his/her own kind and not by merit. even stiffles your growth(Worked under many mangers and different products line over 4 years with the company. Also, the company don't look after the seasoned and experienced employees. They'd rather bring in inexperienced at a higher rate to be trained by the experienced but poorly paid employee instead of revising the pay. Not even the yearly evaluation is guaranteed. Especially during covid when all training ceases or filled up too quick, Nothing the manager can do as HR would rather be unreasonable and just tell you in not so many words to suck it up. also throw the "you don't know how the next place is going to be" to reel you in so you don't think of exploring better options. Well. You're Weatherford trained. That means a lot and many companies are willing to pay for a Weatherford Trained talent if Weatherford won't appreciate you. Lotta discrepancies too when it comes to different branches and product lines, Best you can pray for is to be a Floater or on loan, Guarranteed hours and incentives, which sucks because if you're considered local, you're down on luck. You're probably working more than the on loan employees, but they are the one making the bank on their guranteed hours and call out time..
