Pros
Worked with the company for a few decades. Easy to move around within the company when following protocol. Easy to move up the ladder as well. In the past, there were lots of opportunities to do so when times are good. Of course, there was a con to this though because many people talked their way into positions instead of "working" their way into the position or demonstrating proficiency to truly earn a position.
Cons
Company treats employees poorly these days (started really sliding downhill about 5 years ago), human resources is abysmal, managers are not trained and prepared for their roles, and saw lots of actions taken that border on EEO infractions. Saw employees laid off by managers they don't even report directly to. Attempts were made by executive management to move away from operating like the largest mom-and-pop company around to become like peer service companies, but in the process, the worst of both worlds has been realized. In general, they stopped caring about employees and cherry-picked changes that would benefit the company in generating more cash to the bottom line and negatively impacted the employees.
