Pros
Their marketing parties are well done, and many of the members are awesome. Most wework colleagues are also very nice people.
Cons
Wework is a volatile place to work at, and sacking are an easy and regular event in the company. The CEO is extremely vain and naraccistic, driving a ruthless business model. The business speaks of love and the sharing economy, but it's only for winning hearts and minds - it's a swindle! Fundamentally the business is,about making money at all costs, it's very stingy and lean operationally. You as an employee are a disposable tool for the business, a consumable. The leadership is generally very young and lacking experience in both business and life. Senior management are also typically very young, and work like a small elite club of privileged employees. At the time of employment they will say how dynamic,.and fantastic the company is, that it has amazing growth, and it's an incredible opportunity to work there. What they don't tell you is the crazy hours, your expected to work all night, that the company is in management and process chaos, that the business is super stingy, and you will constantly be on edge in regards to getting fired. Also expect to fly long haul in economy class, and share a hotel room with someone else even in senior management.
