Pros

Reasonably new to We Influence having been here for less than a year and everyone is very welcoming - there's no expectation to change who you are to fit in, an experience I encountered at other companies. Everyone is hard-working and extremely talented, recognising that the agency is moving in the right direction following new hires. The clients are varied, which, in my role, offers the chance jump between various tones and audiences. I've been given the opportunity to take responsibility on clients, campaigns, projects and really have my voice heard - something I've been looking for. You're trusted here, a "we hired you for a reason" attitude which allows you to feel confident in bringing ideas forward or pushing back against a client. I'd recommend We Influence to anyone interested in a marketing career, whether they're fresh out of uni or school, an experienced hire, or even looking for a change in career.

Cons

Holidays are lower than at previous companies and agencies I've been at, but the flexibility makes up for it - management is incredibly understanding of employee needs. Like all agencies, it can get busy and there are frustrations with clients, but you're supported by team members when you need and ask for it.

Pros

I joined because the leader failed in a previous company and came back with this one, this told me the mentality of the leader, which was important to me. I'm glad it turned out well. After 9 months here, I can see what remains is a good growing lean team of people who does what is right for the customer. We deliver great value and quality that works commercially for all parties, if not then we honestly communicate this back and do whats right. We have a personal approach and build valued relationships. The culture within is great, a tight nit group which is inclusive and caring. The culture values work life balance, time, family and health. The leader prepared well and responded well to Covid19 and this speaks volumes. Location is great, office is well equipped.

Cons

Limited private parking now and facilities - not a deal breaker as we are a growing team for good reason. Annual leave is low - could do with 7 days more or longer 4 day week? Lack of progression plan - for those who want to grow more financially, and with inflation. Pension - standard workplace pension, basic contribution. Private Medical Healthcare - none.

Pros

Great team of knowledgable professionals with a wide range of skills and experience making up each department. The company has grown a lot in many ways since I started (1 year ago), branching out into new services allowing its staff members to upskill and learn new channels/platforms. Everyone is super friendly and approachable making you feel at ease right away. They offer one 'work from home' day a week as a given and are very flexible when it comes to holidays. The office is also equipped with new and powerful iMacs and all the tech you could need, plus the fish and plants make it feel more homey and comfortable rather than corporate. I would highly recommend working for WI to any experienced (or un-experienced) managers or digital marketers looking for a new challenge! Even through the pandemic the company has kept its momentum and focus to deliver great results to our full roster of clients, whilst being able to expand it and grow.

Cons

- Not as many annual holidays to other companies - No clear company progression paths - Lack of team socials and industry events (mainly due to Covid no doubt)
