The REAL Story: Bad Management, Poor Leadership & Suspicious Owners - Marketing Coordinator Wave Plastic Surgery Center Employee Review

I work in Marketing in Costa Mesa, and I laugh when I read all these other reviews from people on my marketing team. The reviews are NOT legit. My colleagues and I are being pressured to write good reviews to get the REAL bad reviews pushed down. I hate to write anything bad, but the COO (and she is also the owner) is terribly suspicious. And she pressures us to write fake information to suppress any of the real feedback and reviews. Let me tell you about what it's like to work at Wave. It has nothing to do with hard work. We all work hard, all the way from our office assistant, marketing team members, etc. but it's the SUSPICION that Wave has of every person. I read and found out that they are recording us during meetings and phone calls WITHOUT our knowledge. That's illegal. There is no marketing plan. We had a marketing leader but he left and I think he was a nice guy but now we have no marketing plan at all whatsoever. We are just left floating out here in OC away from any real leadership or real plan. Its hard to work in an atmosphere of no plan and suspicion. I know a little bit of Chinese and the things that I hear her say behind our backs is just not right. There are a couple of employees that have a work VISA and they are worked 24/7 and that's not fair either. They should be treated equally like everyone else on the team and I am surprised that Immigration officials have not been in talks with the owners the way that they treat the couple of employees who are not US citizens. Their treatment of them is really unfair. All that said, the atmosphere is pretty toxic, no leadership and I need to start looking for a new job.
